At Mupundu Energy, we are committed to addressing Zambia’s energy challenges through innovative and sustainable solutions. Our electricity production efforts are centered around the use of anaerobic digestion technology to generate renewable energy.
Our objective is to produce clean, renewable electricity by converting organic waste into biogas through anaerobic digestion. This biogas is then used to generate electricity, contributing to a more sustainable and reliable energy supply for Zambia.
We utilize advanced anaerobic digestion technology to break down organic waste, producing biogas that can be harnessed for electricity generation.
Our first project aims to produce 2.5 MW of renewable energy. This project represents a significant step towards alleviating Zambia’s energy shortages and enhancing energy security.
The electricity generated from our biogas plants will be fed into the national grid via ZESCO, ensuring a stable and continuous supply of renewable energy.
Along with feed-in into the national grid, we also serve private off-takers, delivering reliable and sustainable electricity.
